These cancer support groups offer the opportunity for you to share your feelings and coping strategies with others. Groups include: “I Can Cope” group, Newly Diagnosed Group, and Advanced-Stage Metastatic Recurrent Cancer Group.<\/p>\n
Date:<\/strong> 2nd and 4th Thursday Join cancer survivors and their loved ones in a caring, supportive group to share experiences and find current information in an emotionally healing environment. Participants are in all stages of the disease process: diagnosis, surgical treatment, radiation treatment, chemotherapy, and hormonal therapy.<\/p>\n Date:<\/strong> Every Monday Support group for Head and Neck Cancer patients who have completed most or all of their treatment. Co-hosted by Carol Martin, LSW and Michele Lites, RDIII, CSO<\/p>\n Date:<\/strong> 2nd Wednesday of every month Description: <\/strong>Make sure your health care wishes are respected, even when you\u2019re unable to speak for yourself. This class will help assist you with advance care planning, guiding you step by step in completing the advance health care directive. The goal of home health is for patient and family to reach independence in their health care and to maintain or improve their level of wellness. A home care program will be individualized to meet your special medical needs.
